Community…Golden Beets by Robert McArthur

Garden Tip: Grow only what you love to eat.
I’ll never grow a beet. Tried them boiled. Tried them pickled. Tried them as a trendy salty chip. I’ve never met a beet I liked.  Until I saw Robert McArthur’s watercolor GOLDEN BEETS.  His depiction of this bland vegetable turns the humble beet into a delicious painting, dripping with color and full of flavor.  Its a feast for the eyes!

This lovely still-life is somewhat a departure from his usual posts of figure paintings.  His nudes are just as lovely!  Stop by Robert McArthur’s art blog to see more of his work.
